We need the village to take part in transforming education and a big part of that is an input from the Private Sector and how this can impact the Education Sector,” the Minister said. She added: “One of our discussions centres around how we can have our corporate bodies more involved, how we can build that framework, so it is easy to give. Many people want to give but they just need an easy pathway to do so and at the Ministry, we are discussing how we can expand Adopt-A-School, not just for devices other initiatives, as we take care of our children, by sowing and investing into their lives.” The ceremony was also attended by Chief Education Officer, Lisa Henry-David and the Principals of Princes Town Roman Catholic Primary School, Cap-de-Ville Government Primary School, La Brea RC Primary School and Brighton Anglican Primary School, who collected the devices on behalf of their students.
